This year's Oscars were hosted by Chris Rock. He hosted it for the second time since 2005. This year however, the viewer count was drastically lower, with only 34.3 million viewers unlike in 2005 when it was 42.1 million. The highest viewer count for the Oscars was in 2004 when 'Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King' won and was hosted by Billy Crystal; there were 43.5 million viewers!
Leonardo DiCaprio took the Oscar graciously and as well as thanking his friends he also reminded everyone of the environment! What a guy...
And there was also Chris Rock's monologue. After the controversy about the slightly 'racist' awards, I felt Chris handled the situation fine. He embedded both jokes and facts into his monologue making ti both entertaining and interesting to watch. Check it out...
AND what's more is that he sold girl scout cookies TOO!
