Have you ever thought that you have relationship troubles? Well you definitely need to watch this upcoming film this Valentine's on 19th February.
Starring Dakota Johnson, as Alice, Rebel Wilson, as Robin, Alison Brie, as Lucy, and Leslie Mann as Meg, it depicts a group of single women in New York. Now these partner-less just need some time partying and sleeping around and have hilarious encounters and experiences as they find themselves and their significant others in the city that never sleeps!
Based on the bestseller 'How to be Single' by Liz Tuccillo, this romance comedy is definitely one to look forward to. Be sure to use the advice in the film in real life, of course only do so if you have no intention of actually making a relationship.

Disney has officially decided to postpone the release of Star Wars to 15 December 2017. It was originally meant to be released on 26 May 2017 however due to the studios wanting to do similar end-of-year release like 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', they postponed it till Christmas. Instead of Star Wars VIII being released in March, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' is being moved up by Disney from 7 July 2017 to 26 May 2016.
Who knows maybe this will increase the views or possible even multiply them. But then again 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' which also followed this schedule did very well. It became one of the largest grossing films in history while also making a box office of $1.961 billion. If 'Star Wars VIII' follows the example set by its prequel, everyone working on it will suddenly be a whole lot richer!
It's ratings were similarly high:
IMDb: 8.4/10
RottenTomatoes: 92%
Metacritic: 81%
Nothing has been released by Disney about the plot itself, however one of the actors, namely C3-PO, did threaten to release some information. He was quickly shut up by the director of the film Rian Johnson in the form of a small memory from the prequels...Or perhaps a sign that Han may be coming back from the dead, just to shut up C3-PO...
Despite Disney keeping everything hush! hush! a few small details have been discovered by very observant fans. It appears that Gwendoline Christie will reappear as Captain Phasma, although no-one is certain what she will do after escaping the destruction of the Death Star: will she be branded a traitor or will she continue to work for the First Order? Gwendoline Christie's characters are known to be strong survivalists such as her 'Game of Thrones' character Brienne of Tarth on which she performed brilliantly! She certainly deserves a longer amount of showtime in the new film.
Another person who need a longer amount of showtime is none other that Luke Skywalker (played by, as I'm sure you all knew, Mark Hamill). We only saw him standing on the island in the last scene of 'The Force Awaken' so in the new film we are expecting more action from one of the last Jedi.

Another much anticipated film which probably isn't doing so well after its release, like Ride Along 2, is probably Dirty Grandpa. Starring Zac Efron, Robert DeNiro, Aubrey Plaza, Adam Pally, Zoey Deutch and others the film is about a very strict lawyer, Jason Kelly, (played by Zac Efron) who is about to get married to his boss' daughter (Julianne Hough). At his grandmother's funeral, his grandfather, Dick (played by Robert DeNiro) asks him to drive him home to Florida.
On the journey they end up going to Daytona Beach, Florida while also meeting old classmates of Jason, Shadia and Lenore and Bradley. Through their time at Daytona many incidents occur such as drugs, jail time and various encounters with a gang which is continuously beaten off by Dick. Furthermore, with Dick putting himself back 'out there' and flirting with any girls around, there are many incidents caused. The film depicts the relationship between Jason and his grandfather which is not so close in the beginning but gets very strong by the end of the film.

Personally, I thought the film would be great since it would be the kind of funny film which had a deeper meaning that meant a lot to the viewers. But now, looking at the reviews, I think they might've put the pressure on the comedy in the film more than the actual deeper meaning that I was expecting.
In the end, the pair are actually very close with Jason even breaks off his engagement to confess his feeling for Shadia. In the mid-credits it's shown that Dick and Lenore have a son, who is Jason's uncle, but Jason and Shadia are his godparents.
Ratings:
IMDb: 5.9/10
Metacritic: 18%
RottenTomatoes: 9%
As you can see the ratings are not very. So tell me in the comments how you felt about the film or follow me for more updates on films and TV shows too.
With the sequel to the first Ride Along in cinemas last week, people are queuing up to buy tickets. From the trailer and its predecessor it seems like the perfect sequel to come out in cinemas for a long time. Check out the trailer, trust me you'll enjoy it...
Before I talk about the ratings let me tell you a bit about the story line. The two soon-to-be-brothers-in-law, Ben Barber (played by Kevin Hart) and James Payton (played by Ice Cube) are in Miami attempting to bust a drug ring. Let me just remind you that this a few days before Ben's wedding to Angela Payton, James' sister. In Miami, with the help of computer hacker A.J. (played by Ken Jeong) and homicide detective Maya Cruz (played by Olivia Munn) they find out that a well respected businessman Antonio Pope (played by Benjamin Bratt) is in fact the leader of the ring in South Florida. This leads them into many comical situations.
But then again, this duo is funny in any situation...
But from the reviews I've been seeing, it seems to me like there is no point in buying a cinema ticket just to watch it. AND what more is that even the ratings are really low, worse than the first one, much worse in fact.
Ratings:
IMDb: 5.8/10
RottenTomatoes: 12%
Metacritic: 32%
Tell me in the comments section or vote on the poll if you think it is worth watching despite the negative reviews.
The date for the release of Deadpool is set for 12 February so we have less than two weeks to go! I can't wait since I've been looking forward to this since last year. Check out how amazing it is through the trailer below...
See what I mean? Ryan Reynolds portrays Deadpool perfectly as the fun and deadly superhero. We hadn't heard of him since 'X-men Origins: Wolverine' where he plays the mercenary Wade Wilson as part of the government's mutants fighting squad. The film ended with Ryan Reynolds being turned into his alter ego Deadpool after going through multiple operations to make him the perfect mutant. In the last scene, it can be seen that Deadpool is still alive despite Wolverine cutting off his head.

The story line is supposedly that Wade Wilson has multiple organ failures and is forced to go through surgery (unfortunately it doesn't quite follow the 'Wolverine' story) on nearly all of his major organs. Throughout this experimental ordeal he has the support of his girlfriend Vanessa aka Copycat, played by Morena Baccarin, who stays by his side through the procedure that gives him his powers.

After the procedure, Deadpool hunts down the person responsible for ruining his life. Throughout the film he is often assisted by his best friend Weasel, played by T J Miller. Despite his dark humor Deadpool is a character with a very dark and sad past, it almost makes us hope he didn't go through it. But without that, how would we have the Deadpool that we all love so much?
